Where is the best place to buy Silver bullion? Where is the best place, on the web or otherwise, to buy pure silver bullion coins? I would like coins that are closest in price to the actual market price of silver as possible. Thanks.

How much silver bullion was paid to France for all the 1 dollar "silver certificates" they had accumulated. About 1954 France demanded "Silver" for all the 1 dollar "Silver certificates" they had accumulated and they demanded and received "Silver" for the US paper dollar "Silver certificates. Now, all our fiat paper money says; Federal Reserve Note. The Federal Reserve Board gets a prime rate of interest for the use of our own currency. With out investing a single solitary penny of their own. They get the prime rate interest for nothing.
Clad-looking edge on a silver bullion coin? I just bought on Ebay what was advertised as a 1-ounce silver bullion coin. It has a toothed edge but has a copper-colored streak like clad coins. Could this be an altered Kennedy half dollar instead?
How do you sell silver bars and bullion? Silver bars and bullion -- what should you know about the silver before selling it, where can you sell it, what fees will be involved, what market rate should be looked at and should one expect to be able to sell at the published rate?
Where can i sell silver bullion bars? Hi, i have 200 troy oz of .999 silver. Its in 2 bars, and on the bars it says some national bank that Bank of America bought out a couple years ago. Ive tried selling them on ebay, but no one one wants to give me a reasonable price for them because there not "name brand". Could i get some sort of certificate of authenticity? Or is there somewhere when i could get full or very close to full value for it?
How much is silver per troy ounce, and is it legal to have it in the form of bullion? I have recently inherited a large sum of silver and find that is not practical to retain for investment purposes. I'm curous to know if it holds more value in the form of bullion, I have no paperwork to coincide with it's original purchaser, date, or value. Each brick is stamped with the name of the company who created them, a serial #, and the words `99.99% pure siver'. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
How do I buy Silver Bullion at spot price? I know there's a better way than I've discovered so far. I'm looking to buy small to medium quantities (10-100 oz's) I've checked the local dealers, ebay, and the main sites and all I see is $2-$3 over spot (after factoring in taxes and/or shipping)... Help?!?
No experience selling silver bullion, I want to sell but how much to ask? I've run into some money problems and I've collected Silver Bullion for times like these. I've decided to sell 60 silver rounds and I want to sell them to someone local (a dealer maybe), I called one dealer and he asked me "how much do you want to sell them for?" I told him I'd like Spot (market) price. He said he'd buy them for market price. I was wondering if anyone with more experience selling silver bullion knows if I made a mistake saying market price? should I have said a premium say of a dollar over market price? I have no experience selling silver.
Investing in Silver Bullion? Suppose I wanted to invest in silver bullion, partially as a serious investment, partially for the novelty of having some "portable property". Suppose I went to a coin dealer and bought several silver 1oz pieces, or a large bar, would I be able to sell them later without excess testing and fees? Assuming that I took and kept possession of the bar(s) to avoid storage fees. What I mean is when I go to sell the bars (back to a dealer) will the process be: "Your bars have the right mass, here is your money". Or will it be more convoluted? I've heard stories about a person who took his bars in, and had to pay for the dealer to drill holes in bars to ensure that the bar hadn't been hollowed out and filled with a cheaper metal. What is a typical pathway from purchase to sale of a bar of silver?
How do silver and gold bullion coins come packaged? I'm thinking about buying some silver bullion coins for investments (go along with savings and mutual funds) and generally just for the idea of having some coins that would have some worth to them either now or in the future. I want to buy gold bullion coins as well but I'm going to wait out that to see how the US economy continues and if the price of gold is going to drop or not. Not in any rush, in my early 20s. Also silver fits more into my budget after I take care other other things, student loans, and put away money in savings. I've been looking at Kitco.com as a place to buy from but I'm wondering in general how are silver and gold bullion coins packaged when you buy them? Are they simply sent in packaging and you can touch them with your hand or are they perhaps encased in plastic that you might be able to open if you want? Or is that something you have to buy yourself? Here is an example of what I'm referring to. http://www.fremontcoin.com/p_carlino_lvrj.jp Thanks. Sorry. Does the Central Bank of the Philippines buy Gold and Silver coins? Does the Central Bank of the Philippines buy Gold and Silver coins? I am a coin collector and I wanted to know if the Central Bank of the Philippines would buy Gold or Silver bullion coins from USA or Canada? I've heard that they have a gold and silver buying program. Can anyone let me know what their policy is regarding buying and selling gold/silver coins?
Deduction of shipping costs in gold and silver buys? Can I deduct the cost of shipping and insurance on the purchase of bullion? I'm a small buyer of gold and silver bullion and coins. Of course the trick is to purchase at or below market spot (no interest in the numismatic value) however by the time shipping and insurance are added to the bullion it is sometimes well above spot. Can this be deducted as an "investment" expense?
