How do i make gold in the world of warcraft?
I am a level 12 warrior with 15 gold. I have made it from signing charters. People giving it to me for free and killing kobold miners. But I feel i want more gold. Any tips for how a level 12 can make 100's of gold in a short period of time?

- 70's cant make 100's of gold in short periods of time. So far at level 12 with 15 gold, you're doing pretty well, my 70 usually has less than that. There's nothing really to spend lots of money on at that level, just level up with skinning and mining professions and you will get money.
- the best way is to take up a gathering profession like mining, skinning, or herb gathering. a lot of the items you get from doing these bring in a decent amount of gold. another way is to find something that sells well on the auction house. i have a lvl 13 blood elf that sold eggs on the auction house. she made enough gold to buy all netherweave bags for carrying her items and still had 34 gold left over. good luck with your gold earning.
- It'll take time. What are your professions? If enchanting/tailoring/smithing, etc - offer your skills for tips. If mining/herbalism - sell your mats - engineers/smiths & alchemists always need that stuff.
When you get higher in level, you can offer lowbies runs through RFC & other low level instances.
Farm for cloth too - linen, wool & silk usually sell pretty well for people using it for first aid & tailoring. You'll get lucky with a green every once in a while too.
There are a lot of things you can do, and having 15G at level 12 is pretty good!
You'll be living once you hit 70 - in 2 hours of dailies I make minimum 260G per day ;).
Good luck!
- Here is a nice little video that shows how to make 170 - 300g an hr. And no it is not promoting a book :)

- You don't need 100's of g at level 12. Just start running instances or what not don't bum gold, I hate when nubs bum gold. Another option is to play the auction house. Find mats really cheap and buy in bulk turn around and sell it for a gold or two less than AH price. I have made a LOT of gold doing that.
- well, u cant make 100's of gold at lvl 12 but take up mining and skinning and sell ur findings. unless u wanna go blacksmithing then take up that and mining and make the stuff for blacksmithing and sell it, but skinning and mining is WAY better.
- I am a Night Elf Hunter and through all of my quests thus far I have learned that the things you loot of of humanoids, make you a lot of money. the higher the level humanoid, the higher amount of money you will get for the shields and weapons you loot off them. Never had a problem with money, I am a level 37 and have almost 90 gold just by doing that. I don't even have a proffession yet! Every char is different tho.
- Try leveling and questing?
- I usually use auctioneer, an add on that takes the data from auction house and compiles it showing when people are selling low, when to buy it, and what to sell it back for. I easily gained my gold with it on my 17 warrior on a different server from my main. Not to mention it also gives you the best prices to sell anything that you find at random...
It takes some playing around with to get used to though, but once you do you start getting a lot of gold, really fast...
- I say keep up what you are doing and try to get your skinning and mining up they are both very good professions for making money. If your a 12 warrior with 15 gold be happy its a very good start
- im a lvl 35 orc hunter and i got 108g all from making stuff and putting it in the AH
im a LW
- Having 15g is amazingly good for your level.i highly suggest you to focus on leveling before thinking like this.Im pretty sure you can make 100g with a 70 char like 500 times faster than a lvl 12.
- You can absolutely make 100g in a short amount of time. My last character had made 150g by the time she was lvl 20 (New server, no beggings, purely AH money).
The best way to do this is to pick up one or more gathering professions and use them to fund your adventuring. Don't worry about crafting professions for now.
Pick up:
Mining or Herbalism
Skinning
Fishing
Skill up as much as you can, and spend some time farming mobs. You might want to pick some mobs that will offer you Meat to sell on the Auction House, as well as ones you can Skin. Skinning is kind of time-consuming at first, but 20 Light Leather can go for well over 2g, as well as Copper Ore. If you go for mining, sell stacks of Ore, NOT BARS. If you smelt the Ore into Bars, you will not have Jewelcrafters interested in your wares.
Sell anything that comes your way. Grey items go to the vendor, White and Green items to the Auction House. Price competetively-- not too low, or you'll not get your worth out of the items, and not too high, or someone will be tempted to undercut you.
Use your fishing skill to pick up valuable fish such as Oily Blackmouth and Firefin Snappers, off the coast of Ashenvale and the Barrens. If you have time or the ability, try to fish up some Deviate Fish from the Barrens-- you'd be surprised how much a stack will go for at Auction.
Make a conscious effort to sell items that will be used in low-level crafting recipes, such as:
Spider Silk
Pearls
Leather
Ore
Light Feathers
Gems
If you are diligent and keep farming, you will have plenty of Gold. Just don't expect to have it in an afternoon.
- Many people buy gold online, I am not sure how safe that is though. Nor do I know the WOW TOS policy regarding this practice.

But there are many ways to get gold in World of Warcraft. The easiest way is to sell stuff via auctions, or pick up a skill that allows you to create or produce something that can be sold to other players etc...
I just logged on and checked my auctions and had over 40g worth of sales over the last day or so.
Either way it is slow work to the top, so be patient. Have you checked out leveling guides for your character level to see if you could be making more gold by doing other thing at the moment?
